1. Acceptance and Eligibility
By accessing or using HealthFramework, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
You represent that you are at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction and are legally able to enter into these Terms.
2. Service Description
HealthFramework is a digital health platform that enables individuals to connect patient-authorized health data from participating systems, view structured summaries, and receive AI-assisted educational explanations.
HealthFramework does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment and is not a substitute for professional clinical judgment.
3. Medical and Emergency Disclaimer
All platform content, including AI-generated responses, is informational and educational only. Always seek guidance from a qualified healthcare professional for medical questions, diagnosis, treatment, or care decisions. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call emergency services immediately.
4. Authorization and Data Access
You control authorization of connected records through the originating health system and may revoke access there at any time. HealthFramework accesses only data you authorize and does not alter source clinical records.
HealthFramework depends on external systems for source-data availability, completeness, and accuracy.
5. AI-Assisted Features
AI-assisted features are designed to help you understand authorized health information. AI outputs may be incomplete or incorrect and must not be used as diagnostic or emergency guidance.
Where protected health information is processed by AI service providers, processing is performed under contractual safeguards, including executed Business Associate Agreements or comparable healthcare data-protection terms, as applicable.
6. Account Security and Acceptable Use
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity under your account.
You may not misuse the service, including by attempting unauthorized access, interfering with security controls, reverse engineering, violating applicable law, or using the platform to infringe the rights of others.
7. Privacy, Security, and HIPAA-Alignment
Use of HealthFramework is also governed by the Privacy Policy.
HealthFramework is designed with administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to align with HIPAA best practices and applicable contractual healthcare security requirements. No system can guarantee absolute security or uninterrupted availability.
8. Intellectual Property and License
HealthFramework and its content, software, and materials are owned by HealthFramework, Inc. and its licensors and are protected by applicable law.
Subject to these Terms, HealthFramework grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the service for its intended purpose.
9. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if reasonably necessary to protect users, preserve system integrity, comply with law, or enforce these Terms.
You may stop using the service at any time. Data handling following account closure is described in the Privacy Policy.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, HealthFramework is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and availability.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, HealthFramework, Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, affiliates, and service providers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, total aggregate liability arising out of or related to the service or these Terms will not exceed the greater of $100 USD or the amount you paid to HealthFramework in the 12 months before the event giving rise to liability.
12. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless HealthFramework, Inc. and its affiliates from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your misuse of the service, violation of these Terms, or violation of applicable law.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates are effective when posted, and the Effective Date will be revised. Your continued use after updates become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which HealthFramework, Inc. is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Unless required otherwise by applicable law, any dispute arising under these Terms will be brought in the state or federal courts located in that state, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
