HealthFramework Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of HealthFramework websites, HealthFramework Monitor, related applications, integrations, features, and services (collectively, the "Service"). The Service is operated by HealthFramework, Inc. ("HealthFramework," "we," "us," or "our").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Acceptance

You accept these Terms when you access the Service, create an account, import health records, upload documents, enter health information, use HealthFramework Monitor, authorize AI context sharing, or otherwise use any HealthFramework feature.

If you use HealthFramework through an authorized AI reasoning experience, a third-party AI application you explicitly authorize, or another integration, these Terms still apply to your use of HealthFramework. Additional terms from third-party services may also apply to your use of those third-party services.

We may make certain features available in limited-access, beta, preview, or review-only form. Those features may change, be limited, or be discontinued at any time.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service.

You may use the Service only for your own personal health information or for another person's information if you are legally authorized to manage or access that information. You are responsible for complying with all laws that apply to your use of the Service.

3. Service Description

HealthFramework Monitor helps individuals import, organize, review, and contextualize personal health information over time.

Depending on the features available to you, HealthFramework Monitor may allow you to add or review health details, diet context, family history, medications and supplements, symptoms, measurements, meals, activity logs, uploaded clinical PDFs, and patient-authorized EHR records.

HealthFramework Monitor may organize information by time, type, source, provenance, clinical family, and other review-oriented categories. HealthFramework does not alter source clinical records maintained by healthcare providers, health systems, EHR systems, patient portals, or other source systems.

The Service is intended to support personal organization, review, and educational understanding. It is not a healthcare provider, emergency service, or replacement for care from qualified healthcare professionals.

4. Medical and Emergency Disclaimer

HealthFramework does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, prescribing, care management, emergency guidance, or clinical decision support.

All content provided through the Service, including summaries, organized records, explanations, estimates, AI-assisted outputs, and AI reasoning experiences, is for educational and informational purposes only. It may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or not appropriate for your circumstances.

You remain responsible for medical and health-related decisions. Always consult qualified healthcare professionals for diagnosis, treatment, medication questions, care decisions, or interpretation of clinical information.

Do not use the Service for emergencies. If you may be experiencing a medical emergency, call emergency services immediately or seek urgent medical care. Do not delay seeking medical care because of anything shown or not shown in the Service.

5. User-Authorized Health Data

EHR and other healthcare-portal connections are read-only and user-authorized. You choose whether to connect a supported provider portal or health system, and availability depends on the external systems and access permissions involved.

When you authorize an EHR connection, HealthFramework Monitor requests and imports the records returned by the connected source system. External healthcare systems, portals, data networks, and source systems are responsible for the availability, completeness, timeliness, and accuracy of the records they make available. HealthFramework cannot guarantee that imported records are complete, current, or error-free.

During EHR import, HealthFramework Monitor imports and categorizes returned records by type, date, source, provenance, and clinical family. HealthFramework Monitor does not use AI to interpret EHR data during import.

Imported EHR categories may include demographics or patient information, allergies, conditions or problems, medications, lab results, diagnostic reports, visits or encounters, procedures, immunizations, specimens, vital signs or observations, and source PDFs attached to lab results or DiagnosticReports when returned by the source system.

HealthFramework does not alter source clinical records. If you believe a source record is incorrect, incomplete, or outdated, contact the healthcare provider, health system, or source portal responsible for that record.

6. Uploaded Documents

You may be able to upload clinical PDFs or other documents to HealthFramework Monitor. You are responsible for uploading only documents that you have the right and authority to upload and use.

Uploaded clinical PDFs may be AI-read during HealthFramework Monitor ingestion to create concise clinical summaries. These summaries are intended to help you review and organize information, but they may be incomplete, inaccurate, or missing important context.

The original uploaded document remains the source of truth. You should review the source document and consult qualified healthcare professionals before relying on any summary or extracted information.

Saved PDF summaries are not sent to downstream AI context by default. Selected HealthFramework Monitor context is shared with authorized AI reasoning experiences or third-party AI applications only when you explicitly authorize that sharing.

7. AI-Assisted Features

The Service may include optional AI-assisted features, such as clinical-document summaries, educational explanations, AI meal or activity estimates, and selected context sharing with authorized AI reasoning experiences or third-party AI applications.

AI-assisted features are educational and informational only. They may be limited, incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or wrong. They are not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, prescribing, emergency guidance, or a substitute for professional clinical judgment.

You are responsible for reviewing AI-assisted outputs, comparing them against source materials, and consulting qualified healthcare professionals before making health-related decisions.

Selected HealthFramework Monitor context is shared with third-party AI applications only when you explicitly authorize that sharing. You can revoke AI context sharing in HealthFramework Monitor settings. Revocation stops future sharing through the applicable sharing control, but it may not delete information already processed by a third-party AI application or service according to its own terms, privacy policy, logs, or retention practices.

HealthFramework does not share raw FHIR bundles, raw PDFs, raw OCR text, source-system tokens, storage keys, MRNs, account numbers, or full identifiers by default through the AI context layer.

Your use of third-party AI applications, including any AI reasoning experience outside HealthFramework, may be subject to that third party's own terms, privacy policy, and data-handling practices.

8. Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You agree to provide accurate account information, keep your login credentials secure, and notify us promptly if you believe your account or information has been accessed without authorization.

We may use identity providers, access controls, security checks, and other safeguards to help protect the Service. You may not bypass, disable, or interfere with those safeguards.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service. Prohibited uses include:

We may investigate suspected misuse and take action we believe is reasonably necessary to protect users, HealthFramework, third-party services, or the integrity of the Service.

10. Privacy and Data Handling

Your use of the Service is also governed by the HealthFramework Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how information may be shared, and the choices and controls available to you.

HealthFramework does not sell user data, does not use HealthFramework Monitor health information for marketing or advertising, and does not use HealthFramework Monitor health information to gain insights about a user's family.

You can revoke AI context sharing in HealthFramework Monitor settings. You can also delete stored HealthFramework Monitor data using available deletion controls. Deletion removes active stored HealthFramework Monitor data, subject to limited legal, security, backup, and operational retention where required or permitted.

HealthFramework may use service providers and subprocessors for hosting, security, storage, operational support, analytics needed to operate the Service, and AI processing when you choose AI-assisted features or authorize AI context sharing. These providers are expected to operate under contractual confidentiality, privacy, and security obligations appropriate for sensitive personal health information.

No system can guarantee absolute security, uninterrupted availability, or error-free operation.

11. Third-Party Services

The Service may rely on or connect with third-party services, including healthcare portals, EHR systems, health information networks, cloud infrastructure providers, identity providers, AI providers, analytics providers needed to operate the Service, and other service providers or subprocessors.

Third-party services may have their own terms, privacy policies, availability limits, authentication requirements, data-access rules, and retention practices. We are not responsible for third-party services, third-party content, or source-system records except to the extent required by applicable law or expressly stated in our agreements with you.

Changes, outages, restrictions, errors, or delays in third-party systems may affect the availability, completeness, or accuracy of information shown in HealthFramework Monitor.

12. Ownership and Limited License

HealthFramework and its software, design, features, content, names, branding, documentation, and related materials are owned by HealthFramework or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Subject to these Terms, HealthFramework grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for its intended personal, informational purpose.

You retain rights in the health information, documents, and other content you provide to the Service. You authorize HealthFramework to process, store, organize, display, summarize, and transmit that information as needed to provide, secure, support, and maintain the Service and to provide features you request or authorize.

If you send us feedback, suggestions, or ideas, you allow us to use them without restriction or obligation to you.

13. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if we believe it is reasonably necessary to protect users, protect the Service, prevent misuse, address security risks, comply with law, enforce these Terms, or manage limited-access or beta features.

After suspension, termination, or account closure, data handling will follow the Privacy Policy and available deletion controls, subject to limited legal, security, backup, and operational retention where required or permitted.

14. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available." HealthFramework disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, completeness, availability, security, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

HealthFramework does not warrant that the Service, imported records, uploaded-document summaries, AI-assisted outputs, third-party AI responses, measurements, logs, timelines, or other content will be accurate, complete, current, reliable, or suitable for any medical or health-related purpose.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some of the above exclusions may not apply to you.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HealthFramework, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, business interruption, loss of goodwill, personal injury, or health-related decisions arising out of or related to the Service or these Terms.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HealthFramework's total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Service or these Terms will not exceed the greater of $100 USD or the amount you paid to HealthFramework for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

16. Indemnification

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless HealthFramework, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors, licensors, and service providers from and against claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from or related to your misuse of the Service, violation of these Terms, violation of applicable law, or use of information that you were not authorized to upload, import, share, or process.

This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim is caused by HealthFramework's own unlawful conduct.

17. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the Effective Date above. Updated Terms are effective when posted unless a later effective date is stated.

Your continued use of the Service after updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service.

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Unless applicable law requires otherwise, any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer protection rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
